Catherine Bennett is the executive editor of Utah Business. While she has a print journalism degree, she launched her career in marketing as a global communications leader, which included managing a team of 10 translators. Then, she launched into her entrepreneurship journey, spinning up Backpack Marketing, a marketing agency for small businesses. Next, she pivoted into her first executive marketing role with a company that had ties to Utah manufacturing, aerospace, health sciences and more. She has been a podcast host, business and brand strategist, and has written marketing copy for more than 50 local and national companies.
