What does success look like to you?
Success, to me, looks like committing to whatever you start. I used to measure success by how much money I made. But as I’ve gotten older, success now looks like showing up — for myself, for others and for my family. It means doing what you said you would do and following through on your commitments.
What challenges have you overcome to get here today?
I chose to stay home with my children until they all became school age. That lasted for about 13 years, and it was a rollercoaster of a season. When I entered the workforce again, it was hard to find my place and not compare my journey to others. Once I settled in and trusted my own journey, I gained confidence and excelled in different areas of my life. Trusting my own process has been key.
What leadership philosophy guides your strategic vision and decision-making?
Having a clear vision and knowing exactly how I’m going to execute that vision. I’m intentional with everything I do. Taking the time to carve out that vision and see it through has resulted in incredible outcomes not only for myself, but for the people around me.
