What principle or habit has most influenced your professional success?
I have always reminded myself that all people want to feel appreciated. Due to my role, I interact with nearly all of our employees and all of our partners. I try to genuinely connect with them to let them know that I appreciate what they do. I’ve found that this approach has allowed me to develop incredible connections with people inside and outside of Primo. This has always helped me remember that life is about more than just business, but it’s all about the relationships I have with the people around me.
What is the most rewarding thing about your job industry? Why?
As a huge fan of golf, working with elite athletes is the most rewarding part of my job. Most people will assume that being a professional golfer means that you’re making millions of dollars, but for most golfers, that’s not the case. As I’ve been able to get to know these athletes personally, I understand the highs and lows of pursuing a dream in professional sports. We currently work with Phil Mickelson, one of the greatest golfers of all time — I’ll never forget the time we’ve spent with him. But I equally love the time we spend with our athletes that are grinding and trying to make it.
