Kelsie Green, 38
COO | HCA Mountain Division, St. Mark’s Hospital
Describe what you’re responsible for in your professional role.
As a healthcare leader, I am responsible for supporting our caregivers in delivering high-quality care and ensuring all of our supportive functions work for our mission: to improve the lives of Utahns. I am charged with translating strategic goals into day-to-day plans while managing budgets, staffing, quality, regulatory compliance and several key relationships both within and beyond the facility’s walls.
What is one thing you’re most proud of accomplishing at work in the past year or in your overall career?
I am fortunate to have spent my career in both clinical and business leadership roles, and my overarching career goal is to bring those worlds together in a way that keeps patient outcomes at the center of everything we do. Over the past year, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as both CEO and chief nursing officer at Cache Valley Hospital, and it’s hard to articulate just how important it was to bring both my operational knowledge and my perspective as a nurse and caregiver. I now have the privilege of taking those skills to the next level at St. Mark’s Hospital, learning from an exceptional team with comprehensive service lines.
