What is the most rewarding thing about your job industry?
Hospitality is really about connection. Through NACE, I get to help build a professional community where people feel seen, encouraged and inspired, and where Utah’s events industry can truly thrive. Through my work at the hotels, I’m able to support guests and clients during some of the most meaningful moments in their lives and businesses. Being part of an industry that brings people together and being able to support the people who make those moments happen is incredibly fulfilling.
What advice do you have for your younger self?
Your voice matters, so trust it. Be kind, be confident and don’t shrink yourself or your accomplishments. If there’s something you wish existed, go create it. And always remember that empathy in leadership is a strength, not a weakness.
