What key principles guide your leadership style?

Humanity is at the core of everything. It’s easy to lose yourself in all the meetings and to-do lists, but I value staying connected to myself and the people I’m surrounded with. That’s what separates us from the robots. I’m also a huge fan of bringing together common-sense innovation and a long-term view to solve problems and continually evolve our organization and the industry in which we operate. A lot of companies focus on innovation, but if it isn’t grounded in common sense and execution, it can end up somewhere that doesn’t actually get anything done, becoming innovation for innovation’s sake.

What are you most looking forward to accomplishing in 2024?

We’ve been highly focused on building out the firm’s ecosystem to better serve our clients and our people. This means adding additional service lines like wealth advisory and technology consulting, as well as reducing friction and increasing communication as clients move throughout the firm. Having a deeply connected firm ecosystem significantly enhances career opportunities and professional development for our people. We’ve been diligently working to add technical training courses and build information systems that improve access to subject matter experts across the firm. Our clients and our professionals are multi-faceted and dynamic, and we strive every day to match that profile. This is the model of the future, and having been an early mover in evolving our industry, we want to continue to create the blueprint for doing it well.
