SALT LAKE CITY — Peppy, a pioneering robotics startup operating in the heart of Silicon Slopes, announced the closing of its pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Element Ventures, with strategic participation from Rock Creek Capital, LLC, Mana Ventures, and Colin Gardiner of Yonder.
The new capital will accelerate the development of what the founders are calling the “Lovable for Robotics”—a breakthrough fast-prototyping solution designed to make robotics accessible to everyone. The platform allows users to simply input text prompts and instantly receive working robotic code capable of executing tasks in both simulated environments and the real world.

As Physical AI continues to evolve, Peppy is breaking down the historic barriers to entry in hardware and robotic coding. By streamlining the prototyping process, the company empowers creators, researchers, and developers to bring complex robotic behaviors to life with unprecedented speed.

To realize this vision, Peppy is rapidly expanding its ecosystem and core team. The platform’s capabilities are directly tied to the strength of its underlying skills and foundation models. The company is issuing an open call to collaborate with developers and teams building robotic intelligence or specialized point solutions for robotics. Additionally, Peppy is actively recruiting top-tier engineering talent specializing in Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models to help bridge the gap between large multimodal reasoning and real-time physical control.
