SPANISH FORK, Utah — Bank of Utah has officially opened a full-service branch in Spanish Fork with a ribbon-cutting and open house at 1279 N Canyon Creek Parkway. Bank of Utah leadership joined city and county officials, local businesses, residents and visitors in celebrating the new office. The branch is the bank’s fifth location in Utah County, with other locations in Lindon, Orem and Provo. The Lehi branch’s ribbon-cutting is scheduled for late August.
Bank of Utah representatives presented Tabitha’s Way with a $1,000 check during the ceremony. Tabitha’s Way provides food assistance to thousands of food-insecure families throughout Utah County through three pantries located in Spanish Fork, Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs.
The branch offers personal and business banking, home loans, treasury management, wealth management and investment services. Bank of Utah banking solutions help individuals, families and businesses maximize their money management with accounts and services that support their unique financial goals. Business banking and treasury management teams work with businesses to manage cash flow, make payments and use tools that simplify day-to-day operations.
Lane Deason and Joseph Valle are the location’s Branch Manager and Banking Manager, respectively. Together with the branch employees, they support clients with their accounts, transactions and everyday banking needs and connect them with lending, business and specialty banking solutions.
Bank of Utah employees will impact Spanish Fork and the surrounding communities by volunteering and supporting local causes. One central focus of the bank’s outreach is its Financial Literacy for Utah Teens initiative, part of the bank’s title sponsorship of the Bank of Utah Championship at Black Desert Resort.
Developed in partnership with The Policy Project and the PGA TOUR, the program will introduce financial education to 86 Teen Centers statewide, including Landmark High School in Spanish Fork. These centers provide safe spaces and essential services, including counseling, tutoring and basic needs support for youth facing homelessness or economic hardship. The initiative is expected to help more than 15,000 Utah students build independence and create pathways toward long-term stability.
Statewide in 2025, Bank of Utah team members contributed more than 2,000 volunteer hours, with 313 employees supporting 107 organizations. More than 30 team members served on nonprofit and community boards. Additional community efforts included assembling more than 1,000 hygiene kits for teens, collecting 600+ bags of winter clothing through the state’s largest clothing drive and distributing $200,000 in matching grants to 30 nonprofits through the Federal Home Loan Bank Member Impact Fund.
