ST. GEORGE, Utah — Located in the same city where it opened its first doors nearly 30 years ago, Cafe Rio is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest restaurant in St. George.
The new restaurant will also feature a custom interior mural inspired by the natural landscape of Southern Utah, serving as a locally rooted visual centerpiece within the dining space. Created by local Utah artist Josh Scheuerman, the piece marks the 62nd mural with the brand.
This grand opening marks a significant milestone for Cafe Rio in St. George, the city where the brand first launched in 1997. The new location reflects continued momentum in a foundational market and recognizes the community’s lasting role in shaping Cafe Rio’s history.
Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Cafe Rio is known for its bold, authentic Mexican flavors and iconic, made-from-scratch favorites like Sweet Pork Barbacoa, Creamy Tomatillo Dressing, fresh Tortillas and Horchata – built on a commitment to high-quality ingredients prepared fresh daily, never using freezers or microwaves.
