SALT LAKE CITY — LiveSwitch, a global leader in real-time communications technology, announced a new hiring initiative focused on providing career opportunities to justice-involved individuals. LiveSwitch plans to hire 200 to 300 new employees in the Salt Lake and surrounding areas, primarily for business development representative roles, with additional opportunities in product development and customer success as the company continues to expand rapidly.
LiveSwitch believes in second chances. As an organization, the company has long-standing employees with past records who have built successful careers and contributed meaningfully to the company’s growth. Through this initiative, LiveSwitch hopes to extend those same opportunities to more individuals who are ready to work hard, grow professionally and build a future.
“The most frustrating part of the job search for me was being highly qualified for a position but immediately disqualified by a standard background check,” said Rob Teasley, who has worked in customer success for the company for four years. “I lived that cycle repeatedly until LiveSwitch gave me a shot. This company changed the trajectory of my life by measuring me on my performance, not my history. Now, as we scale, we’re proving that second-chance hiring isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s a massive competitive advantage.”
LiveSwitch is expanding quickly as demand continues to grow for its real-time video communication and AI solutions. Trusted by small businesses in all 50 states, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies, LiveSwitch helps customers across industries including home services, moving, self-storage and property management launch real-time video sessions and recordings through simple text links and QR codes.
Founder and Chairman Brian Hamilton has spent 30 years helping justice-involved individuals build a better life for themselves through entrepreneurship and opportunity. This new hiring initiative reflects both LiveSwitch’s rapid growth and Hamilton’s long-standing commitment to creating pathways for people who are often overlooked by traditional hiring processes.
“I first met Brian through his nonprofit, Inmates to Entrepreneurs, and he gave me a chance when no one else would,” said Rob Teasley. “That kind of trust changes everything. It makes me ten times more motivated to do my very best every single day because he saw my potential when the rest of the world only saw a record. That is the exact culture of loyalty and high performance we are scaling across LiveSwitch with this initiative.”
