SALT LAKE CITY — After more than 20 years in the making, opening day is finally here!

Today is the beginning of a new chapter for our community. This Co-op has been built by thousands of hands, volunteers, members, supporters, and neighbors over the years, and we couldn’t be more excited to open these doors to you all.

We had an amazing opening ceremony with a few words from Mayor Erin Mendenhall and Council Member Erika Carlson, a Native blessing from Medicine Man Steve Todachiny, words from our General Manager Killian Geeslin, a look back at the history of WFC from Barbara Pioli, and thank-you speeches from Missy Greis and Kathia Dang, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and opening of the doors for the first time.

We’re also excited to share the many benefits of becoming a Member-Owner of the co-op.

Member-Owner Benefits:

  • 4 Owner Appreciation Months each year with 10% off one total purchase• Monthly member specials
  • 10% off your purchase when you buy a membership (starting in June)
  • Future rebate dividends once the Co-op becomes profitable
  • Savings on events
  • 10% off all special orders (case-size orders)

Thank you for believing in Salt Lake City’s only Co-op, supporting local food, and helping build something truly amazing for the community.
