Salt Lake City—Swig be swishin’. The Home of the Original Dirty Soda™ is now The Official Soda Shop of the Utah Jazz.
The three-year partnership is a winning mix of two beloved Utah brands. Not only are there two Delta Center Swig concession locations Jazz fans can enjoy, but the soda icon will keep the celebration flowing after every game: When the Jazz win, Swig customers in Utah can score a free treat the following day when they use the Swig app.
“We are honored to be The Official Soda Shop of the Utah Jazz,” said Rian McCartan, CEO of Swig. “It’s been an exciting collaboration to work on since our two companies share such a passionate and engaged fanbase. Our team is thrilled to celebrate, win, and Swig together.”
Swig will be sponsoring “Jazz Win, You Win” all season long — but the excitement doesn’t stop there. Swig will also host Swig & Win, a digital raffle fans can join by scanning a QR code during halftime of 20 Utah Jazz home games. More than 3,000 fans that participate throughout the season will win a free Swig drink credit to use at participating Utah locations. During select Utah Jazz home games at Delta Center, Swig will take over the Bear Bowling halftime show with 6-foot-tall Swig Cups as pins.
“Swig has solidified its reputation within the Utah community as one of the most sought-after brands, and we are thrilled to welcome them as The Official Soda Shop of the Utah Jazz,” said Chris Barney, Chief Commercial Officer of the Utah Jazz. “We look forward to creating unforgettable moments for Swig enthusiasts and devoted Jazz fans alike that extend beyond the court.”
The Jazz partnership comes at the end of a milestone year for the skyrocketing beverage company, which has secured its place as the national leader in custom soda.
Swig currently has 62 stores across seven states, and has solidified 500 franchise units across seven new markets: Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, and Idaho. The franchising push has been an incredible accomplishment, especially considering it only launched multi-unit franchising in 2023.
In 2024, Swig will continue its hyper-growth trajectory with 25 corporate and 40 franchise stores across the country.
