Bank of Utah has appointed a new Treasury Management Officer, Chris Herbert. Herbert brings more than 12 years of banking experience, including 11 years specializing in treasury management.
In his new role, Herbert will focus on acquiring new commercial deposit clients, strengthening existing business relationships and increasing deposit growth among key accounts and large-scale businesses. His background enables him to develop long-term client partnerships and provide customized financial solutions.
Before joining Bank of Utah, Herbert spent nearly a decade as a Treasury Manager at Zions Bank, where he worked with a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate clients. He successfully launched new products, led high-performing teams and contributed to sustained business growth.
“I’m excited to join Bank of Utah and contribute to its strong reputation in community banking,” said Herbert. “I’m committed to working with clients, leading and developing teams and creating a collaborative, team environment. After hearing so many positive things about the bank’s culture, I knew this was the ideal opportunity for me.”
Herbert has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah.
