Local entrepreneur expands eco-friendly junk removal service

American Fork — Residents in Utah County will rejoice as Junk King expands its kingdom under the rule of brothers Doug, Luke, and Tim Wren. The handling of day-to-day operations for this new location in Utah County stays in the family – improving the company’s ability to provide incomparable customer service to more residents within the area.

The Wren brothers took on ownership of Junk King Salt Lake City in the fall of 2020, and after seeing success and a great demand for their junk removal services knew it was time to expand their territory. Tim is specifically eager to lead the team into Utah County as both of his children will be attending Brigham Young University in the fall. Tim brings with him an extensive background in engineering and business education as well as military experience to the management team. His past ventures, and passion for driving growth through teamwork and high-quality customer service position Tim as a natural fit within the Junk King leadership family.

“I’ve lived all over the world, but Utah has always been my home. I love the people and the Utah vibe. In just the past six months, we’ve built strong relationships and community ties with Utah residents as we have espoused our values of client-centricity, sustainability, trust, community, teamwork, and appearance,” says Tim. “We love to simplify the junk removal, decluttering, and cleanout experience for our neighbors with a full-service solution that reduces waste by recycling, repurposing, or reusing what we remove for our clients. We are excited to bring this service to Utah County!”

In addition to the company’s professionalism, eco-friendly recycling, and top-notch customer service, businesses and residents alike choose Junk King because of the brand’s state-of-the-art technology systems that allow customers to schedule a pick-up in real-time. With the online booking system, all it takes is a few clicks and within a matter of minutes Junk King can be scheduled and the job can be completed. The online pricing estimator will also quickly provide customers with an accurate and affordable estimate based on items or truck volume.

“Tim has proven himself as an entrepreneur who has a deep understanding of Junk King’s values, that is, striving for a quality, environmentally conscious, customer-driven experience as well as keeping his employees’ needs top of mind,” says Michael Andreacchi, CEO and co-founder of Junk King Franchise Systems. “We know Tim and his brothers will continue to carry Junk King’s legacy across Utah.”

Unlike the majority of junk removal services, pricing for Junk King is based on the amount of junk removed. The brand’s trucks are 20 percent larger than the industry average, meaning there is no job it cannot handle. Sixty percent of the junk collected is recycled, rather than being dropped at landfills.
