Catherine Bennett is the executive editor of Utah Business. Although she holds a print journalism degree, she launched her career in marketing as a global communications leader, which included managing a team of 10 translators.
Bennett then became an entrepreneur, founding Backpack Marketing, an agency for small businesses. She later transitioned into her first executive marketing role with a company tied to Utah’s manufacturing, aerospace and health sciences industries. Additionally, Bennett has been a podcast host and a business and brand strategist, and she has written marketing copy for more than 50 local and national companies.
