Clint Betts is the CEO of Silicon Slopes, the nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring Utah remains the best place in the world to start, grow and scale a company. A longtime entrepreneur, storyteller and community builder, Betts founded Beehive Startups in 2013 to spotlight Utah’s emerging startup ecosystem before helping merge the organization with Silicon Slopes to create one of the state’s most influential business communities.
Under Betts’ leadership, Silicon Slopes has grown into a statewide network connecting founders, executives, investors and innovators through events, education and advocacy. He has championed initiatives including the Silicon Slopes Summit and Startup School while promoting entrepreneurship as an accessible path for people across industries and backgrounds.
A Utah native with a background in journalism and political science, Betts is a frequent speaker and podcast host whose work centers on the intersection of business, technology and community. He is a passionate advocate for storytelling, believing that strong communities and thriving economies are built by people willing to share ideas, invest in one another and create opportunities for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
