What is one piece of advice you could offer employers about talent acquisition and retention?

Approach your talent acquisition and retention the same way you do your customers. You spend time and money on customer acquisition, reviews, improving processes, cycle times and overall customer experience. The same principles apply to your people. You get out what you put in.

How would you like to see HR and talent acquisition progress?

I see progress through simplicity. Hot topics in people operations include leveraging AI, automation, complex benefits packages, unique but ineffective policies, etc. To progress, most organizations need to take a step back and understand their people and mission. First, take care of your people in a meaningful and substantial way; then worry about complex measures.
