Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that significantly shaped your path?

A pivotal moment in my career was realizing that not every leadership style or organizational vision is the right fit and that’s OK. It forced me to get clear on what I stand for and where I can make the greatest impact. Because of that, I show up differently in HR. I look at situations through the lens of the individual, not just the company. When you get it right for the person, the business results follow.

What’s your next big goal or project in your professional journey?

With AI reshaping telecom, my focus at Alianza is helping our people in a very established industry step confidently into the future of work. That means we’re equipping teams with new tools and identifying those who have the aptitude to thrive in an AI-driven culture. At the same time, I am rethinking performance and development so it reflects what actually drives success in a fast-changing environment.

What key advice would you offer to other aspiring leaders?

The advice I would give to aspiring leaders is that it is not about you. Focus on building real expertise, seeking to understand and using what you know to make things better for others. The most effective leaders are not always out in front. They are often behind the scenes, creating clarity, removing obstacles and propelling others forward. When you focus on elevating people, the results take care of themselves.
