What unique strengths do you bring to your professional and other roles?

I’m a natural listener, which might sound simple, but it’s become one of my most valuable professional tools. By truly hearing what people say — and observing what they don’t — I can identify underlying needs, build trust and make people feel genuinely seen. This allows me to translate insights into meaningful action, whether I’m developing healthcare solutions, collaborating with stakeholders on policy issues or working with nonprofit partners.

Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that significantly shaped your path?

Rather than one pivotal moment, my career has been shaped by a pattern of saying “yes” to opportunities — even uncomfortable ones — and viewing each challenge through a lens of growth. What has made the difference are the cheerleaders I’ve had at nearly every stage: mentors and colleagues who believed in me. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone repeatedly, and each opportunity has built upon the last.

What’s your next big goal or project in your professional journey?

I’m focused on making healthcare more accessible and affordable for Utah families. The more I learn about our healthcare system, the more I see both its complexity and its potential for improvement. I’m energized by the relationships I’m building across Utah’s healthcare landscape with providers, policymakers and community partners who share a commitment to change. My goal is to continue identifying opportunities where we can make meaningful improvements, little by little. Sustainable change happens through collaboration, and I’m excited to be part of that work.
