What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the impact I’ve made beyond my job title. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently led with integrity, resilience and a commitment to creating equitable spaces — especially in environments where I was often the only one who looked like me. I take pride in using my voice to advocate for fairness, accountability and meaningful change, even when it wasn’t easy. Professionally, I’ve built a reputation for delivering results, but personally, I’m most proud of staying true to my values and setting an example for my family and community, showing that strength and grace can coexist.
Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that significantly shaped your path?
A pivotal moment in my career was facing adversity that tested both my professional identity and personal strength. During that season, I was forced to make a difficult choice: remain silent and comfortable, or stand firm in my truth and advocate for myself and others. I chose the latter. Speaking up wasn’t easy, but it was necessary and it reshaped how I define leadership.
That experience taught me that leadership is not just about performance or titles; it’s about courage, accountability and using your voice when it matters most. It also deepened my commitment to creating environments where people feel truly seen, valued and respected — not just included, but genuinely acknowledged for who they are and what they bring.
That moment strengthened my sense of purpose and clarified the kind of leader I am committed to being: one who not only drives results, but also creates space for others to feel empowered, heard and supported.
What’s your next big goal or project in your professional journey?
My next goal is to expand my impact both within organizations and beyond them. I’m focused on stepping into spaces where I can influence culture, policy and leadership at a higher level. Whether through leadership roles, speaking engagements or mentorship, I want to continue advocating for inclusive, accountable workplaces where people feel seen, supported and valued. I’m also intentional about building a legacy that reflects both professional excellence and meaningful change.
