What accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of building a career that combines rigorous advocacy with meaningful leadership and mentorship. I’ve had the privilege of representing clients in complex commercial and appellate matters, including before the Utah Supreme Court and multiple federal courts of appeal. Within my firm, I’m especially proud of helping shape a supportive, strategic culture through board service, mentoring initiatives, and policies that promote flexibility and long-term professional growth. I’m equally proud of my sustained community involvement, serving in leadership roles with professional and nonprofit organizations focused on access, inclusion and excellence in the legal profession. Together, these efforts reflect the impact I value most: work that supports others and endures.

What unique strengths do you bring to your professional and other roles?

My greatest strength is the ability to listen deeply and translate complex issues into clear, practical solutions. I bring analytical rigor, empathy and calm problem-solving to every setting — whether working with clients, colleagues or community organizations. I also approach leadership as stewardship. I focus on building trust, strengthening institutions and creating systems that help people thrive, with the goal of leaving organizations stronger than I found them.

What key advice would you offer to other aspiring leaders?

Lead with curiosity, integrity and empathy. Technical skill matters, but trust is built through listening, consistency and follow-through. Seek mentors and offer mentorship as early as possible. Be an advocate. Finally, remember that leadership is a practice, not a title. The most meaningful impact often comes from steady, intentional work done with care over time.
