What are you most proud of in your career thus far?

There are so many things that I am proud of, from making it through law school with two young children to joining the incredible folks at a top-tier law firm. I still cannot believe I was able to attend school with so many of Utah’s best and brightest, and then end up at Holland & Hart, a firm that has been there at every step of Utah’s amazing growth. My coworkers and classmates are changing the world for the better, and I am proud to be a part of it. I have been honored to be a part of some important cases for Utah companies, including discrimination and harassment cases, wage and hour disputes, and others. But I am also proud to be a part of the small issues that companies deal with every day, like helping a company hire the right person for the job or drafting a better PTO policy.

More than anything, I am proud to give my young boys an example of hard work and perseverance, showing them that there really is no limit to what they can accomplish. I am proud to have picked an incredible woman to be by my side at every step.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?

In 10 years, I hope to be working, either at a firm or as in-house counsel, to help more Utah companies to really take off. Being from Utah, I love the incredible growth that is happening, and I love being a part of it. In 10 years, I will have plenty more experience under my belt to really help make Utah an even better place to live, enjoy the outdoors and raise a family.
