Was there a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today?

During grad school, a few friends and I developed a non-fogging coating for swim goggles, which was spurred by our shared determination to solve everyday problems through science. What began as an experiment quickly evolved into something that sparked a deeper curiosity in me: how ideas become protected, commercialized and ultimately impactful. As we explored patenting our invention and intellectual property rights, I became fascinated not just by the technology itself but by the legal frameworks that protect and empower innovation. I realized that behind every groundbreaking advancement is a complex network of agreements, ownership rights and strategic protections that allow creativity to thrive. That experience taught me that creativity extends far beyond the moment of invention and led me to a career in technology transactions law. I am grateful to play a role in designing legal structures that transform ideas into innovations with the power to shape the future.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?

In ten years, I hope to be a partner at my law firm, helping to expand and strengthen a preeminent technology transactions practice. I hope to be recognized as a thought leader at the intersection of law and emerging technologies, especially in helping clients navigate the rapidly changing world of artificial intelligence. I hope to be known not only for technical excellence, but also for shaping how the legal profession adapts to innovation. I want to keep learning, challenging assumptions and contributing to the conversations that define the future of technology and its governance. Most of all, I hope to continue finding fulfillment in the work itself, whether it is the privilege of advising visionary innovators, the intellectual challenge of exploring new frontiers or the satisfaction of seeing ideas move from concept to reality while helping to ensure that the right protections are in place.
