Leland Rogers
Radiation Oncologist | Utah Cancer Specialists, Holy Cross Jordan Valley Cancer Center
Leland Rogers is a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 35 years of experience. He focuses on neurosurgical and neurologic applications of radiation therapy, serving patients through Utah Cancer Specialists in Salt Lake City and beyond. Leland has contributed to guideline development for managing brain metastasis and tumors, publishing extensively on treatments like radiosurgery for trigeminal neuralgia. He is the principal investigator for international meningioma trials (RTOG-0539 and NRG Oncology BN-003) and a trial on low-dose brain radiotherapy for Alzheimer’s. His work in brachytherapy covers a range of applications, including prostate and CNS tumors. He holds leadership roles in professional organizations like the American Brachytherapy Society and ASTRO. Outside of medicine, he is a family man, musician, tennis player and skier.
