With nearly a decade of experience in radiopharmaceutical R&D, Lauren Radford focuses on developing chemistry manufacturing processes for radioisotopes to be used by radiopharmaceutical producers and researchers. Before joining Nusano, Lauren played a crucial role in the commercial establishment of a medical isotope for PET imaging, which enhanced patient access to cancer diagnostic agents. She has a PhD in radiochemistry from the University of Missouri and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her previous research projects focused on production and preclinical studies using diagnostic radioisotopes. Now, she’s excited about helping Nusano open the floodgates to the next wave of radioisotopes used for therapy.
