Gina Bell
Facilitator | Salt Lake City Fire Department
For over 30 years, Gina Bell has been pivotal in the Salt Lake City Fire Department’s Training Division, guiding 53 recruit schools and over 650 firefighters. She oversees a two-year apprenticeship for new firefighters and facilitates captain and battalion chief promotions. Gina introduced the GI Bill program to the department in 2011 and remains the school certifying official. With 27 years of experience proctoring tests at Utah Valley University’s Utah Fire & Rescue Academy and serving as an instructor, her dedication has strengthened fire service training across Utah. Gina holds leadership roles on the Utah State Firefighters Association Board, Salt Lake City Firefighters Relief Association Board and Salt Lake Valley Retired Firefighters Board.
