Emily Minges initially supported pediatric patients, children of adult patients, and adults with developmental disabilities in Salt Lake Valley emergency departments. In 2022, she helped launch the Adaptive Care Program at Primary Children’s Hospital, aimed at improving access and equity for individuals with disabilities. Over three years, Emmy and her team have developed a network to identify and implement accommodations that foster collaboration among patients, families and providers. Passionate about advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities, she ensures they receive care tailored to their unique needs.
