Lindsey England’s 25-year career in trucking began at the family business, Pride Transport, but has culminated in positions at Blendyd Studios and True North HR, where she utilizes her history to inform and improve the industry’s future in Utah. Her groundbreaking advocacy created new pathways for women in this traditionally male-dominated field, reaching a historic milestone as the first woman appointed 3rd VP on the Utah Trucking Association’s board of directors.
“As a woman in the trucking industry, I view my role as both an opportunity and a responsibility,” Lindsey explains. “I’ve been fortunate to have strong allies in my family who have supported my access to opportunities. … Both men and women throughout the industry increasingly understand that gender diversity directly contributes to positive business outcomes.”
Lindsey recently leveraged her industry expertise to support Blendyd Studios, a female-owned tech company supporting trucking innovations. She is now focusing on strategic human resources consulting with True North HR and aims to help “organizations excel through people-centered approaches” by “creating distinctive cultures that make them best in class.”
