Cheryle Caplinger, heritage Utahn, blends tradition with forward-thinking innovation while mentoring women leaders across Washington County with boundless energy and strategic vision.
She currently spearheads Utah Tech University’s Innovation District and serves as interim director of the Atwood Innovation Plaza, creating a hub for research, workforce development and industry partnerships.
Her influence extends through service on more than 20 boards, including the Suazo Business Center and Silicon Slopes’ Women in Tech. Her network connects Southern Utah with the Wasatch Front, bridging rural communities and global opportunities.
“I lead partnerships that connect higher education with industry in ways that create real impact,” she explains. “I’m known for making things happen by bringing the right people into the room. If I don’t know the guy, I know the guy who knows the guy.”
