HYDE PARK, Utah — Rocky Mountain Care Enterprises (RMCE) and B3 Development will break ground on Cache Meadows Senior Living in September 2026, a new 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community at 555 South Wolfpack Way in Hyde Park, Utah, in the heart of Cache Valley. Local officials, healthcare leaders, and project partners will gather at the site for a ceremonial groundbreaking marking the start of construction on what will become the region’s premier post-acute care destination when it opens its doors in early 2028.
Cache Meadows will offer 87 thoughtfully designed suites — including private, semiprivate, bariatric, isolation, and ventilator/trach-capable accommodations — giving Cache Valley families access to a full spectrum of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services close to home. The community is organized around a light-filled, skylit interior “Main Street” featuring a café, dining venues, an activity center, and gathering spaces that bring the warmth of a small-town streetscape indoors.
The design pairs mountain-modern architecture with state-of-the-art clinical capabilities, reflecting a simple conviction: that advanced medical care and a genuine sense of home belong under the same roof. Additionally, Cache Meadows will be part of a larger medical campus which includes a forthcoming Assisted Living Facility and commercial space abutting Main Street in Hyde Park.
“Cache Valley has been asking for this level of care for a long time, and we’re honored to deliver it,” said Eddie Bangerter, President of Rocky Mountain Care Enterprises. “Cache Meadows is designed around the way people actually live — neighbors gathering on Main Street, families sharing a meal at the café, and clinical care that meets the most complex needs without ever feeling institutional. That balance is what our family has been working toward for more than sixty years.”
Cache Meadows will be operated by RMCE, a family-owned, Utah-based organization whose roots in senior care date back to the 1960s. RMCE manages the full continuum of postacute services — skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, hospice, palliative care, outpatient therapy, and physician services — across seven states, making it one of the largest care providers in the Intermountain West. Backed by more than 30 years of operating experience and over 3,000 employees, RMCE has built its reputation on safe, dignified environments that foster independence, connection, and the highest standards of care, along with a legacy of reinvesting in the communities it serves. “This project is what happens when a community’s need, a proven operator, and a committed capital partner all line up,” said Tyler Howland, Founder and CFO of B3 Development, the project’s developer. “From day one, the goal has been a building that earns its place in Hyde Park — architecture that belongs in Cache Valley, and care capabilities that until now required families to travel well beyond it.”
Construction financing for the project is being provided by Banterra Bank. Bonneville Builders will serve as general contractor, with Beecher Walker as project architect and B3 Development as developer. Construction begins in 2026, with completion and opening anticipated in early2028.
Mayor Bryan Cox of Hyde Park said, “Cache Meadows represents exactly the kind of investment Hyde Park welcomes: quality jobs during construction, long-term careers in healthcare, and a resource our families will rely on for generations.”
Once open, Cache Meadows is expected to create significant ongoing employment in nursing, therapy, dietary, and support services, in addition to construction jobs during the roughly two-year build. The community will serve patients recovering from surgery, illness, and injury, as well as residents requiring longer-term skilled nursing support — needs that continue to grow across Cache Valley’s aging population.
