HURRICANE, Utah — SouthWest Vision celebrated their new Hurricane location, which is located at 85 S 2600 W, Ste 101, prominent along SR-9.

Patients, business professionals, local leaders, and the community attended the festivities which included a ribbon cutting, exploring the new building, a wide variety of giveaways, presence from the local radio stations, and refreshments from Muddy Bees Bakery. At 4:00 pm the crowd gathered for the ceremonial ribbon cutting where Dr. Ryan Robison kicked off the remarks by expressing his gratitude to everyone that made this new office possible. Hurricane City Mayor Clark Fawcett and the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce then shared a warm community welcome to the new office. After the ribbon was cut, the celebration continued as guests explored the new office, gaining a firsthand look at the space created to enhance patient care and comfort.

The new building is 3,781 square feet, with SouthWest Vision occupying 1,901 square feet and 1,880 square feet of open tenant space. SouthWest Vision’s office includes a beautiful, bright lobby decorated with photos of Southern Utah taken by their patients, several exam rooms, a pretest room, offices, a break room, and an eye-catching skylight. The exterior design complements the nearby buildings and desert landscape, featuring natural tones and a brick façade.

The construction of the building was completed by local contractor Watts Construction and designed by BH Architecture. With the project successfully completed, the space is now prepared to welcome patients and support SouthWest Vision’s growing services.

Dr. Taylor Hutchins serves as the primary optometrist at the Hurricane office, with support from Dr. Eric Drake, Dr. Ryan Robison, and SouthWest Vision’s founder, Dr. Paul Gooch. The eye care clinic offers full-scope optometry services such as; comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams and fittings, dry eye treatment, pediatric eye care, medical eye care, and a designer optical boutique.

SouthWest Vision expressed appreciation for the community’s support and reaffirmed its commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered eye care to the Hurricane community and surrounding areas. The new location represents an investment in both advanced vision services and the long-term growth of the region, ensuring residents have convenient access to comprehensive eye care close to home.
