SALT LAKE CITY — The Sundt Foundation has awarded grants to five nonprofit organizations across its Intermountain region as part of its latest quarterly giving cycle. The funding supports programs focused on strengthening families, improving health outcomes and expanding opportunities for youth in Utah and Idaho.

The recipient organizations included Shriners Children’s in Salt Lake City; Friends of the Weber-Morgan Children’s Justice Center in Ogden, Utah; Fathers and Families Coalition of Utah in West Valley City; Lee Pesky Learning Center in Boise, Idaho; and Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, Idaho.

“Through these quarterly grants, the Sundt Foundation is proud to support organizations that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in Utah and Idaho,” said Jasen Bennie, Sundt senior vice president and Intermountain regional manager. “We’re honored to partner with them to help expand their impact and continue addressing critical needs.”

The grants will fund a range of initiatives, including the purchase of adaptive medical equipment for children, the creation of safe and supportive environments for child abuse victims, expanded youth employment and life-skills training programs, academic coaching for at-risk adolescents and enhanced surgical care through specialized nurse certification.

The Sundt Foundation supports nonprofit organizations through quarterly grants and employee-driven fundraising efforts. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded more than $20 million to nonprofits around the country.
