LOGAN, Utah — S&S Worldwide (S&S) is thrilled to celebrate the opening of Nutcracker at Lagoon. The newest Screamin’ Swing has been opened at the manufacturer’s home park, and the employees couldn’t be happier.

“I am so excited about this ride,” says Project Manager, Steve Johnson. “Being able to build a ride so close to home that we all can share with our families and friends is so rewarding. I can’t wait to get my grandkids to Lagoon to ride it.”

Standing 105 feet tall, Nutcracker has brought a new element to the Lagoon skyline and will bring new thrills to guests with its maximum speed of 68 mph and G-forces ranging from 0.42 to +4.67 G in a single ride.

Nutcracker is the result of a long-standing partnership between S&S and Lagoon. “We’ve enjoyed working with Lagoon through the years”, says President and CEO, Jason Mons. “What started with Rocket 30 years ago we get to continue with the opening of Nutcracker. We’re grateful to be able to be Where Excitement Begins at home in Utah.”
