SALT LAKE CITY — Activate, the world’s first active gaming facility and viral social media sensation, is opening its first Utah location next month just southwest of Salt Lake City in Taylorsville, bringing its high-energy, tech-driven gaming experience to the Beehive State.

The 17,292-square-foot Taylorsville location will house 15 interactive game rooms, including TikTok-viral favorites such as Mega Grid, Laser, Strike, Press and Control. Designed with responsive, motion-sensored technology, each room adapts instantly to the player’s movements for a dynamic experience from start to finish.

Players can join forces in Cooperative Mode or go head-to-head in Competitive Mode, using RFID wristbands to record progress, scores and achievements in real time. Featuring more than 700 levels with new challenges added regularly, Activate is built for repeat visits, blending problem-solving with physical movement. It’s the perfect spot for family, corporate outings, school field trips and team-bonding events.
