SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Bubbakoo’s Burritos, the award-winning Mexican-fusion concept, announces the opening of its newest location.
Conveniently located at 10384 S Redwood Road in South Jordan, the restaurant sits at the corner of South Jordan Parkway and Redwood Road, making it an ideal spot in the heart of the community. This opening marks a major milestone for the brand, following the debut of its first Utah location in Orem earlier this year. The South Jordan restaurant is the second to open in the state, with additional locations planned across the region.
The new location is locally owned and operated by Loco Rico LLC, an established multi-unit and multi-brand operator with over 40 years of experience in the QSR space. The South Jordan restaurant will be the second of five Bubbakoo’s Burritos locations planned to open throughout Utah over the next three years.
“Bringing Bubbakoo’s Burritos to South Jordan is a proud moment for our team as we get to share the brand’s one-of-a-kind flavor with our neighbors,” said a representative with Loco Rico LLC. “Bubbakoo’s is all about fresh ingredients, friendly service, and creative combinations that keep guests coming back. We look forward to creating a space where families and friends can gather, enjoy great food, and feel part of something special.”
The multi-unit agreement, signed in September 2024, reflects the strong demand for the brand and its continued expansion across the Mountain West.
Over the past 17 years, Bubbakoo’s Burritos has become a fan favorite for its unique menu, superb customer service, and welcoming dining environment. Living up to its promise to “create something different,” the brand offers more than 12 signature flavors that fuel its ever-evolving lineup—from the newly renamed Papi Hibachi (hibachi-style steak and shrimp) burrito to Saucy Snack Wraps, the Nashville Burrito, and the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla. This tradition of bold, fresh innovation continues with the Killer Creations menu, which now features new standouts like the Honey Sriracha Crispy Chicken Stinger, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every craving.
“Opening another location in Utah is a monumental step for Bubbakoo’s Burritos as we continue to grow our national footprint,” said Chris Ives, CEO of Bubbakoo’s Burritos. “South Jordan is a vibrant community, and we’re eager to welcome new guests, share our innovative take on Mexican-fusion cuisine, and deliver the exceptional experience that has made Bubbakoo’s a favorite across the country.”
