Providence — Hope Recovery and Healing, an online addiction and mental health center, is pleased to announce their grand opening. The center is based in Providence, UT, and serves the entire state of Utah through fully online programming. As one of the few fully online recovery centers in the nation, Hope Recovery and Healing’s mission is to help those who struggle with mental health and addiction challenges discover their path to recovery, experience healing, and establish patterns of living for mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Co-founder and CEO David Macfarlane explains, “We offer intensive programming that might be a step-down for people who have been in rehab or residential treatment or a step up for people who are seeking more than once-a-week therapy. A lot of people are struggling right now, in more ways than one. We want anyone struggling to know that the future can be bright for you, no matter how trapped you might feel. We get it, and we can help.”
Programming at the center is offered in two formats: as a 9-hour intensive outpatient program (IOP) or as a general outpatient program for continued recovery support. Treatment is focused on mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma response, etc. as well as addiction disorders. The center offers individual and couples/family therapy, group therapy, spiritual awareness classes, yoga and restorative movement for neurological and physiological regulation, coping skills and recovery coaching, med management, and case management (eg housing and job placement, life skills training, etc.).
Co-founder and program director Jennifer Dobberfuhl Quinlan says “Our programming is designed to address the whole person, not just the disorder or illness. We feel our combination of programming is unique and provides many ways for clients to find their personal path to recovery, including a uniquely targeted approach to spiritual discovery. We honor the diverse spiritual experiences and backgrounds of a Utah audience; we hear you, and we’re here for you.”
The Hope Recovery and Healing clinical team is certified in DBT and EMDR. They also utilize CBT and narrative therapy along with other research-based approaches and modalities in order to personalize treatment. Clinical director Jack Kettering says, “We pride ourselves on working with each client to set goals for treatment and determine appropriate ways of measuring progress along their journey. We help clients reach inward, outward, and upward to find their healing. Because we integrate so many elements of emotional, neurological, and physiological regulation, we feel we offer something truly unique to those who are ready to engage on a path of recovery.”
The center is now accepting new clients and welcomes questions, feedback, and opportunities for partners throughout the state of Utah. Their website is www.hoperecoveryandhealing.com. They can also be found on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
