Harmons Grocery is announcing an important leadership transition and several key promotions that support the company’s continued growth and reinforce its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and strong partner collaboration across the grocery industry.
After 22 years of dedicated service, Paul Adamson has retired from his role as Executive Vice President of Operations at Harmons Grocery. We are deeply grateful for his leadership, commitment, and the lasting impact he made across our company and stores. Paul’s contributions helped shape Harmons’ success, and we wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.
Following Paul’s retirement, Harmons is pleased to announce the following leadership promotions:
Lori Nigh has been promoted to Executive Vice President/COO. Lori most recently served as Vice President of Sales, where she played an integral role in advancing Harmons’ business performance and strengthening key relationships. Lori’s deep understanding of the organization and passion for excellence make her a natural fit for this next step. In her new role, she will oversee operations across the company and continue driving strategies that enhance execution, outstanding service, quality products, and results.
With Lori’s transition, Danerish Root has been selected as Harmons’ new Vice President of Sales. Danerish brings valuable experience and a proven track record of results, and she has been a driving force behind the success of Harmons Central Production. Her leadership, operational understanding, and collaborative approach will be key as she guides sales strategy and strengthens partnerships that deliver value to customers and vendors alike.
Harmons is also proud to announce the promotion of Mike Arbuckle to Senior Director of Center Store, a newly created position reflecting the importance of Center Store strategy and continued investment in category growth. In this role, Mike will provide focused leadership to strengthen assortment, merchandising, and supplier alignment while supporting an elevated shopping experience across all stores.
“These promotions reflect the strength of our team and the intentional investments we are making in Harmons’ future,” said Scott Lewis, President/CEO of Harmons Grocery. “Lori, Danerish, and Mike each bring valuable expertise and leadership, and we look forward to the continued impact they will make as we grow and evolve.”
Harmons Grocery congratulates Lori, Danerish, and Mike on their well-earned promotions and looks forward to continued collaboration with industry partners as the company advances its strategic priorities.
