The Orrin G. Hatch Foundation announced the addition of Thomas Wright to its Board of Directors. Wright is the CEO and Principal Broker of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty and the President and COO of Majestic Realty Collective, a leading affiliate group within the Sotheby’s International Realty network. Under his leadership, these companies have generated billions in real estate sales across major markets, including Salt Lake City, Denver, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs.
Wright’s leadership in the real estate industry is matched by his deep commitment to public service. His experience spans business, government, and philanthropy, and he has held key roles in various Utah institutions, including the Utah State Board of Regents, the Utah Debate Commission, and the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera Board of Trustees.
“Thomas’s remarkable track record in business and public service makes him an invaluable addition to the Board,” said A. Scott Anderson, Board Chair of the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation. “He brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial success, policy insight, and public service that reflects the principles this Foundation was created to promote. His perspective will help strengthen our efforts to promote the type of thoughtful, constructive dialogue that Senator Hatch stood for.”
“Thomas Wright has spent his career demonstrating what principled leadership looks like—whether in the boardroom or in service to the public,” said Matt Sandgren, Executive Director of the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation. “Thomas will be an extraordinary asset to our Board as we work to carry forward the Foundation’s mission and meet this moment with purpose.”
“Senator Hatch believed in elevating dialogue, finding practical solutions, and working across the aisle for the good of the country,” said Thomas Wright. “I’m honored to join a Foundation that embodies those values. I look forward to contributing to its mission and working alongside a distinguished group of leaders to build on Senator Hatch’s enduring legacy.”
Wright’s civic résumé includes past service as Chairman of the Utah Republican Party and Vice Chair of the Republican National Committee. Wright has championed key state priorities, from expanding access to affordable housing to preserving the Great Salt Lake as part of the Great Salt Lake Watershed Enhancement Trust.
