How are you involved in changing the landscape of Utah’s business community in regard to inclusivity?

For the past two years, I’ve worked in a role at PROG Development Center, where we have built a community center from ideation to brick and mortar. We had to bring in community and partner organizations to build it together. The mission was to bring the wonderful opportunities happening throughout Utah to West Valley. We worked hard to see folks from lower socioeconomic backgrounds gain access to support and programs that would help them step into roles and jobs that aligned with their passions and dreams.

What do you most look forward to achieving?

I recently transitioned from my role at PROG to the director of the Utah Sierra Club. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to continue to serve our community. Serving collaboratively gives me immense joy, and I am looking forward to working with the teams, committees and volunteers to protect our right to a healthy environment here in Utah.
