How are you involved in changing the landscape of Utah’s business community in regard to inclusivity?

As a faculty member at the University of Utah for 16 years, I have been humbled and proud to educate and better prepare students to build more dynamic, inclusive and diverse communities in Utah and nationally. As the former chair of the division of ethnic studies, we’ve been fortunate to greatly expand our number of nationally recognized faculty, and we have long been dedicated to establishing strong community partnerships across the region and empowering all Utahns.

What organizations do you find most important to support?

Community-based organizations dedicated to enhancing the opportunities for their constituents to thrive. Authentic and sustainable cultures of inclusivity need to be built from the ground up, and if we can serve in facilitating this, we are thrilled to assist.
