Visit Salt Lake’s Eddie Canaday appointed to IGLTA Foundation’s Board Executive Committee

Salt Lake City — Visit Salt Lake (VSL) recently announced the appointment of Eddie Canaday, CHSP/CHME, to serve on the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association Foundation’s board executive committee, an achievement and honor deserving of Canaday’s long-time support of IGLTA’s mission and his 12-year representation of Utah’s capital city as VSL’s director of convention sales, Washington D.C. office, diversity market development director.

“Salt Lake City is a hidden gem for tourism, and it’s an honor having Eddie on our executive committee of our Board of Directors at the IGLTA foundation,” says John Tanzella, IGLTA president & CEO. “He brings with him a unique perspective from the Mountain West region, a positive attitude and a willingness to further the mission of our foundation. In addition, having visited Salt Lake many times for conferences as well as ski vacations, I am very proud that LGBTQ+ tourists are welcome and respected there.”
