Dine in to donate at The Gateway

Salt Lake City— The Gateway<http://shopthegateway.com>, Utah’s premier place for working, dining and entertainment, has a new way their guests can give back and help the restaurant community with the all-new Dine to Donate<http://www.atthegateway.com/dinetodonate/> punch card. It’s easy. Diners can just print their own card here<http://shopthegateway.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/GATE_Card520_2p75x2p7_3.pdf> or pick one up from any participating Gateway restaurant.

Diners can choose to eat at one of the new restaurants or an old favorite between May 5 and July 31, 2020 and collect punches on their Dine to Donate cards. Once they fill up their card with punches by eating at four lunches and four dinners, The Gateway will make a $5 donation to the Tip Your Server<https://downtownslc.org/TipYourServer> program, where every dollar donated goes directly to Salt Lake City hospitality workers. Everyone turning in a punch card will also receive a limited edition #SaltLakeStrong tote bag.

“We have added new areas of outdoor seating in our open common space for diners to safely enjoy a meal at The Gateway while keeping a safe distance. The space includes a colorful overhead display of umbrellas that provide much-needed shade on the south-end of our restaurant district,” says Jacklyn Briggs, marketing director for The Gateway. “As we welcome people back, our commitment to the community is to provide plenty of options here at The Gateway to stay connected while we continue to support our local restaurants.”

All merchants are strictly following the recommended protocols and we have an increased cleaning and sanitization schedule for all common spaces at The Gateway, as well as signage throughout the property to remind people to wear masks and practice physical distancing
