Prior to joining Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar, Cheney was a partner at Snell & Wilmer until 2018, and thereafter ran a small, boutique real estate firm in Salt Lake for the past five years.

Cheney has more than 20 years of experience providing counsel to a broad range of clients in various types of commercial real estate transactions. He represents clients in complex real estate transactions including commercial, mixed-use and multi-family development, acquisition and disposition; condominium, hotel and resort development, registration and compliance; commercial leases; real estate joint venture agreements; real estate private equity raises and syndications; and real property financing transactions.
