This creative hub will be the fifth location in Utah, providing endless opportunities to “Rebuild, Reuse and Reimagine” with this classic outlet.

The driving force behind this new venture is the husband-and-wife franchise duo, Josh and Kristen Brereton. As a passionate AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), Josh’s journey from childhood LEGO enthusiast to building new memories with his own children inspired him to embark on this endeavor with his wife to bring the joy of LEGO to the Taylorsville community.

“Some of my fondest memories from my childhood are dumping the LEGO bin out on the living room floor and building cars and planes with my dad,” said Josh Brereton, Franchise Owner. “During the pandemic, I rediscovered my love for LEGO through the lens of a parent and realized there was a vibrant community here in Utah waiting to be inspired in the same way.”

From iconic minifigures to rare vintage sets, Bricks & Minifigs offers a unique experience for LEGO fans, providing emphasis on community and creativity. Customers will not only have access to a wide selection of new and classic LEGO sets but can also trade in their pre-loved LEGO sets for store credit or cash. Plus, the store doubles as the perfect venue for a private event or LEGO-themed party.

Located at 5644 S. Redwood Rd, in Taylorsville, this new toy store will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. In celebration of the grand opening, promotions and giveaways will be taking place all day in the store, including prize drawings, character meet-and-greets, and more LEGO-themed fun.
