Under Jill Calton’s leadership, UMB Bank’s alternative investments division in Utah has grown significantly, employing over 150 associates and solidifying UMB’s reputation in the region. Jill’s influence extends beyond mere numbers; she embodies the integration of business acumen and community engagement, demonstrating success through both financial growth and impactful mentorship.
A Utah native and advocate, Jill earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Weber State University. As a certified public accountant and member of the Utah Association of CPAs, she is actively involved in shaping industry standards. At UMB, Jill has achieved astounding results, including a 1,684 percent increase in revenue and a 263 percent growth in her team. She has also overseen a remarkable rise in assets under administration. Additionally, Jill initiated a mentoring program that supports new associates, fostering a culture of excellence and development.
Her dedication extends beyond professional achievements into education and community service. She actively engages with students from high school to university level, promoting financial literacy through collaborations with institutions and programs like Junior Achievement.
