As founder and CEO of Monere, Mou Nandi is developing an AI-powered smartphone app that detects anemia non-invasively — crucial for women and children globally. With a computer science master’s from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and currently pursuing a business creation master’s at the University of Utah, she combines technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision.
Her innovation stems from nearly two decades at NetDocuments, where she built a sophisticated search engine handling billions of legal documents from scratch. This experience now powers her mission to make healthcare more accessible worldwide.
Monere has gained impressive recognition, winning awards from MIT and the Stanford-UCSF pediatric device consortium and was recently selected as the winner of the BioUtah Shark Tank competition. With millions of tests already conducted globally, the technology is particularly valuable in underserved communities where traditional testing is unavailable.
