Alise King is committed to reshaping Utah’s film industry through inclusive practices, championing an internship program that has launched over 60 careers while actively diversifying production crews statewide.
After earning her master’s from the Paris College of Art and teaching at Utah State University, she entered production as an intern at BW Productions before rapidly advancing to studio director at Cutthroat Grip, Lighting & Stage and producer at Cinema Forte.
“I am grateful for the diverse roles and opportunities I’ve been able to experience this early in my career,” she notes. “What I am proud of is creating work that has a broad and meaningful impact. … Whether it’s being a part of producing content to the public or helping others gain access to the industry, I am driven by the desire to make a difference.”
Her projects include significant campaigns with The Larry H. Miller Company to bring Major League Baseball to Utah and initiatives promoting affordable housing.
