News

The Utah Jazz launches its new streaming service, Jazz+, becoming the second team in the NBA to offer a branded streaming service.

NASA’s Osirus-Rex spacecraft successfully lands a sample capsule in Utah, containing material from the ancient asteroid Bennu.

Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings becomes the majority owner of Utah’s Powder Mountain Resort with a $100 million investment. 

The Utah Jazz’s “5 For The Fight” jersey patch campaign successfully raises $50 million for cancer research. The partnership continues with a new, permanent interactive space at the Delta Center.

Ivory Innovations and Call to Action Foundation announce the “Housing for Impact” partnership, aiming to create around 850 affordable homes for workers in Utah within three years.

WNDR® Alpine—the outdoor brand launched by the biotechnology company Checkerspot—releases the Phase Series, a high-performance, low-impact activewear line powered by ingredients derived from microalgae.

Halia Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, announces the opening of its new 20,000-square-foot headquarters located at The Summit in Lehi, Utah.

Silicon Slopes hosts its eighth Summit at the Delta Center, featuring local, national and international speakers.

Northrop Grumman delivers twin solid rocket booster segments for NASA’s Artemis II mission. Also, the company’s GEM 63 solid rocket boosters power ULA’s Atlas V launch, delivering a national security payload with 1.85 million pounds of thrust. 

Pluralsight One donates $2.5 million and 41,000 Pluralsight Skills licenses to nonprofits, bolstering access to technology skills.
