Park City— Woodward Park City, the ultimate year-round action sports club and part of the POWDR adventure lifestyle portfolio, continues its mission of empowering the next generation of action sports athletes with indoor and outdoor instruction programs through the winter months. 

“More than 50 years ago, Woodward was founded on the idea of empowering the next generation of action sports athletes,” explains Phoebe Mills, director of programming at Woodward Park City. “Our lesson and camp programs allow us to foster passion and fuel progression for even our smallest action sports athletes. We are excited to offer Weekend, Winter, and Spring Camps in our programming lineup this winter, in addition to group and private lessons available daily.” 

Camp Offerings

Weekend, Winter and Spring Camps take Woodward’s famed camp programming to the snow, offering skiers and snowboarders ages seven and up the opportunity to ski and ride with the same coach and group in consecutive full-day sessions. 

Woodward Camps support skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginner to advanced, who are looking to progress their skills on snow. Camps include outdoor training in Woodward Park City’s Mountain Park, indoor training in the Action Sports Hub, and lunch. Groups are divided by age and ability level, with sessions available for beginner through advanced skiers and snowboarders. 

Weekend Camps are held on four consecutive Saturdays or Sundays with two camp sessions available. Session one runs four consecutive Saturdays starting February 6 and ending February 27 or four consecutive Sundays starting February 7 and ending February 28. Session two runs four consecutive Saturdays beginning March 6 and ending March 27 or four consecutive Sundays starting March 7 and ending March 28. 

Camp sessions are held from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Weekend Camps are available online at woodwardparkcity.com for $499 per four-week session. 

Winter Camps, scheduled for February 15-19 or February 15-17, and Spring Camps, scheduled for April 5-9 or April 5-7, are scheduled to coincide with school holidays and offered in three or five day sessions. Winter and Spring Camps are held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Winter and Spring Camps are currently available for purchase at woodwardparkcity.com for $399 for a 3-day camp and $599 for a 5-day camp. 

Daily Lesson Opportunities

Group ski and snowboard lessons are available daily throughout the winter season. Woodward Park City is committed to small class sizes allowing individual attention to each student. Snowboard and Ski group lessons for children ages four to six have a maximum class size of three students per instructor. Group lessons for ages seven and up have a maximum class size of seven students per instructor. Three-hour group lessons are available and begin at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily. Lessons range from $93 – $139 and are available for purchase at woodwardparkcity.com. All lessons must be reserved in advance.

Private on-snow lessons are available for children ages three and up.

Woodward Park City operates 365 days a year from 10:00 am- 8:00 pm, following all COVID-19 health and safety requirements and recommendations set forth by local and state health officials. On-site ski and snowboard rental equipment is available for lesson participants. Reservations are required for all lesson programs.
