Utah Jazz team up with Sportsdigita

Salt Lake City — Sportsdigita, the technology organization transforming the way the biggest Sports and Enterprise brands in the world sell, announced a partnership with the NBA’s Utah Jazz, who will utilize the Digideck solution to amplify ticketing and sponsorship efforts.

The Jazz, who currently hold the best record in the NBA, are turning to Digideck for the following purposes:

  • Empower their ticketing, sponsorship sales and marketing teams to be more innovative in connecting with fans and sponsors
  • Create three different master deck styles that can be used across the ownership group’s properties, which include Vivint Arena, the NBA G League’s Salt Lake City Stars and Minor League Baseball’s Salt Lake Bees
  • Provide its sales teams with best-in-class technology to book more meetings and develop stronger pipelines
  • Maintain brand consistency and brand control across all teams

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Utah Jazz and their affiliates during such a pinnacle time in sports,” Sportsdigita CEO and founder, Angelina Lawton says. “The Jazz are one of the hottest teams in the NBA and we take pride in helping them better showcase the excitement and value their franchise offers.”

Sportsdigita was founded in 2011 by Lawton who, after serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning, recognized the inadequacies of PowerPoint and other presentation software when pitching major six- and seven-figure Sponsorship deals in the Professional Sports space.

The company initially gained traction by powering its Digideck platform for professional sports teams across the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL, and MLS. Currently, over 40 percent of teams across those five leagues use Digideck. But as these sports franchises used the platform to present major deals to potential sponsors, big brands took notice. With organic expansion into the enterprise space, today organizations such as Visa, MetLife, and Kaiser Permanente also use Digideck.

“I’ve had the opportunity to witness Digideck in previous positions and have seen first-hand how impactful it can be in driving sponsorship and ticketing revenue,” Jazz chief revenue officer Chris Barney says. “Digideck’s immersive technology will allow us to tell the best possible story to our fans and partners during this critical time in sports.”
